A Solutions Are Power Connection story
May 7, 2008 :: Shashi BellamkondaNetwork Solutions organized networking events in Miami, Charlotte and Orlando featuring Guy Kawasaki. At these events the local businesses got a chance to network with each other and with Guy Kawasaki, author and entrepreneur.
Just to give you an illustration of some ideas that were exchanged at these events: In Miami one entrepreneur pitched his idea to Guy Kawasaki by recording his pitch on an iPod Nano and giving it to Guy Kawasaki at the Miami event. I heard later that his start-up/business idea was really very good.
In Charlotte, student and designer Justin Ruckman, handed out his business cards and we were all impressed. Guy even had Justin design new cards for him and then blogged about Justin on “How to Change the World” (http://blog.guykawasaki.com/2008/05/the-art-of-the.html).
