Happy Thanksgiving to all our Readers
November 27, 2008 :: Steve Fisher
For all of our readers here in the states, we celebrate Thanksgiving Day which is usually comprised of eating Turkey until you fall asleep on the sofa. That is after you are done arguing with members of your family you only see once a year.
But really, Thanksgiving Day is a traditional North American holiday, which is a form of harvest festival. The traditional “first Thanksgiving” is believed to have occurred at the site of Plymouth Plantation, in 1621.
Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Thanksgiving dinner is done in the evening, usually as a gathering of friends and/or family.
At this time, it is tradition that you say all your thanks and wishes.
We are thankful for the Internet, because without it we wouldn’t have jobs and we wouldn’t be able to connect with people like you.
We are thankful for the legal team here at Network Solutions, because without them protecting our butts and making sure each post is accurate, we might not be able to bring you all this great content.
We are thankful that we get to do what we love, because so many people go to work each day dreading it and we are able to have a smile on our face every day. That is awesome.
But most of all…
We are thankful for all of you, our readers, because without you well, it would be really boring. We love your comments and feedback because this let’s us know you are listening and keeps us in check to do our jobs.
