Consumer Advisory: Beware of Check Fraud

June 24, 2009 :: Shashi Bellamkonda

We want to advise our readers to be vigilant for fraudulent checks that look like they are from Network Solutions. The counterfeiters are attempting to dupe people into accepting these fake documents and presenting them to their banks. The letters that accompany the checks usually try to solicit personal information, such as the intended victim’s bank account number. The intent is to commit fraud against the recipient of the letter, the bank and Network Solutions.

Please disregard these checks. Also please fax us any documentation you receive that you believe is a scam or is fraudulent and appears to be from network solutions. The fax number is 570-708-3077. We have and will continue to send examples of fraudulent checks to authorities for investigation.

  • It seems that check fraud is bigger then authorities.
    Just my opinion.
