Thanks @Josh & @Robert for your excellent comments. I do apologize for not responding any sooner, but did read your comments. The point that I'd like to make here in this blog post was not focused entirely on Network Solutions. Rather, I wanted to state that small businesses that "may" have limited budget, might want to look into what additional offerings their hosting providers may have so that they could consolidate it. I know that Network Solutions has this capability.

To the point about lack of attention or customer service, I think that is something you definitely need to consider when going with ANY service provider. If any hosting partner doesn't think that by offering these services without any regards for their customer's needs post-sale (and I hate using that word "sale"), then that's the company's loss & customers should explore their options.

However, I think that this can AND should be overcome by the hosting providers. Perhaps this is the one wake-up call that hosting providers need to get?

Thanks to you all for your comments.

Pretty blatant there, Ken. You know as well as I do that the NetSol services are not tailored to SMB nor priced at a level that's affordable for many companies. What you offer is a bland collection of random services, the email offer isn't even yours but Constant Contanct. And if you bought it, there's no personal service but a call center with kids in Utah or where ever that have never looked at your account or site before. Sorry, but no thanks!

In response to the last part where you discuss hosts and providers offering to help small businesses as they take their business online. I find there's also a lack of attention to independent freelancers of various trades getting similar aide when starting their own sites too. Or would it be through different venues online?
