Public Email Accounts Targeted in Phishing Attacks

According to several news reports listed below, Hotmail, Google and Yahoo email customers were subject to a scam attempting to trick them into revealing their credentials at fake websites.

This situation and others like it, reinforce the need for users to protect their email accounts.  If you have concerns about your email account, you are recommended to change your password as soon as possible.  If you are the type of person who uses the same passwords at multiple sites and accounts, those account passwords should be changed as well.
