Dave is an old school punk rocker transplanted from Toronto to Nashville. He always makes me laugh and he has been a very prolific and popular person in social media. For example, he was the co-host (with his wife) of the very popular podcast “Two Boobs and a Baby” which just recently ended last year. Dave also writes a very informative and funny blog, DaveMadeThat.com in addition to organizing the monthly Nashville Geek Breakfasts. Last time we spoke he started his job at Griffin Technology as “Social Media Coordinator”. He has been doing an amazing job taking Griffin’s cool products in new promotional directions that continues to build their audiences. While not a full time entrepreneur right now, there is alot to be learned here in how he helping an extremely entrepreneurial company leverage social media to promote its products. We had a chance to catch up recently here at SXSW and here is a transcript of our interview:
