We still have the @ reply, and the superstars I used to get &quot;mad&quot; for not following me, usually respond when I send an @. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In reality, each person IS their own feed. How often, for what purpose, and from what software you tweet makes a big difference in who&#039;s valuable to you or not, and vice-versa. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I do agree with you in envisioning a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is sponsored by something, and you can&#039;t tell who&#039;s real... But that only scares me because very few people I actually *know* are using Twitter.</description>
