Small business ideas for small towns eBook – SmallBizsurvival.com

We interviewed Becky McCray earlier on this blog http://solutionsarepower.com/2008/helping-other-small-businesses-through-a-blog/ and at that time she told us about the forthcoming eBook that she was launching – Small Business Ideas for small towns. The Ebook is launched now and is available for download here. Here are Becky’s thoughts on how she came up with the idea.

“At Small Biz Survival, we focus on the needs of small town small business people. Whenever we come across an idea for a business that seems promising in a small town, we pass it along. Of course, that means the ideas were all scattered out across our blog.

Going by the number of people who arrived by searching on “small town small business ideas,” I decided to compile some of our best ones into an ebook. That’s how 20 Small Town Small Business Ideas came about.

Network Solutions agreed to sponsor the download, and so far over 500 people have downloaded a copy. Obviously, people are interested in new ideas for businesses!”

Becky McCray is a small town entrepreneur. She writes about small business and rural issues, based on her own success and failures. She is the co-owner of a small town retail liquor store and small cattle ranch. She helps tourism related businesses from Oklahoma to Africa to maintain their web presence and helps rural nonprofits and governments with grant writing.
